These mixed university halls are located in the Valdecilla area. They have 359 rooms specifically designed for the comfort and well-being of the residents. They have study rooms, a dining hall, cafeteria, gym and parking spaces, as well as many other services.

Located very close to the campus and exclusively for women, it has individual rooms and offers full-board services. Its installations include a dining room, laundry, TV room, study room, gym, etc.

Get around like a local

There are different ways of getting to university and getting around in the city.

Buses

Santander has a network of city buses. Tickets cost €1.30. You can get a reloadable card that will make the cost per journey €0.66. You can buy them at any kiosk or tobacco shop.

Scooters

This is a great way to get around since the city has special lanes

for you to get about by scooter or bike.

Regional Transport

There are different transport options, we have road connections with the main motorways: the A-8 to Bilbao (104km) and the A-67 to Madrid (458km).

By bus, there are connections from the in Hendaye and Irún (you can look these up on the ALSA bus company’s website. Train: Santander has two stations: the main railway network, RENFE, and the light railway network, FEVE.

National and International Travel

Parayas-Severiano Ballesteros Airport is 5km from the centre of Santander. There are flights with airlines such as Ryanair, Iberia and Vueling, with origin from Madrid, Barcelona, Canary Islands, Dublin, Vienna, Paris, Rome or London among others.

There is a permanent connection between the central bus station and the airport every 30 minutes. A ticket costs around €2.
